2018 is the 27th year of the range. The range will be renamed Thomas Wood and undergo a heavy redesign. Vehicles will feature new paint applications where parts will remain unpainted in places such as the sides, edges, and around boilers. The track system will feature new connections, and adaptors will be included for a short time to connect the new track to previously existing track and similar track from other brands.
