- Similar to the 1998 Toad, Terence has an incorrect magnet polarity.
- In Europe, Terence was alternatively sold as Thierry.
- Due to the train wheels on Terence before 2002, the treads easily fall off the wheels.
- The 1994 Terence is featured in the 2002 and 2003 yearbooks and pamphlets.
- Terence is the first road vehicle to have train wheels. The others being the Crosby Station Cargo Truck, Trevor, the fire truck from the Sodor Fire Station, and Oliver the Excavator.
- Terence is the first vehicle to not have a black chassis. The others being the Sodor Railway Repair, Fergus, Rocky, Byron, Peter Sam's Dynamite Delivery, and Stephen's Castle Coaches.
