Trivia
- A hand-painted prototype of Henry's tender suggests that at one point, wooden wheels were considered for vehicles before they were made of plastic.
- The prototype 2002 Henry features a symmetrical tender while the final version features an asymmetrical tender.
- Some 2002 Henry character cards depict the 1999 prototype instead of the 2002 prototype.
- The prototype 2002 Henry is featured on the following boxes:
- Sodor Log Loader (2002)
- Sawmill with Dumping Depot (2002)
- Set of 3 Buildings (2002)
- Roundhouse (2002-2003)
- Over the Track Signal (2002-2005)
- Barrel Loader (2002-2007)
- Henry is one of five vehicles to have been introduced with a back ledge who never had one in 2002. The others are Thomas, Gordon, James, and Percy. All other vehicles would not lose their back ledges until late 2002.
