Trivia[]

  • Culdee, along with D199, are the first characters introduced in the Wooden Railway line that had only appeared in The Railway Series beforehand, as well as the first characters introduced with painted eyes (though, in Culdee's case, the painted eyes are on the back face rather than the front).
  • Culdee, along with Catherine, are the only two characters from the Culdee Fell Railway to have been produced for the line.
  • The prototype 1996 Culdee features a black funnel, no rear face, and flat magnets.
  • The 1996 Culdee never had a plastic funnel, even after other engines were redesigned with plastic funnels.
