Trivia
- The hole found drilled in the bottoms of earlier versions of the signs is due to the painting process used during production. This allowed each piece to be set into a rotary spray painter, which would apply the paint through automatic spray nozzles.
- Although 4 of the 5 1993 prototype signs were basically the same as the released variants, the yield sign still features a thick red outline only found on the 1993 version.
- The German version of Set of 5 Signs features the Yield sign with no typeface, a Priority Road sign instead of the School sign, a Do Not Enter sign instead of the Railroad Crossing sign, and a Priority at Next Intersection sign instead of the 1 Way sign. Its name of Set Mit 5 Verkehrsschildern translates to "Set of 5 Traffic Signs".
- The back of the 2001 box features James without his tender.
- The Stop, School and Railroad Crossing signs appear in the Baby Einstein video, Baby Shakespeare.
