Duncan is a "plain-speaking" Scottish narrow gauge engine.

Product Description

1999 Character Card

A plain-speaking engine, Duncan keeps busy and means well. He is famous for singing, swaying and swiveling around, which his driver calls "Rock n Roll."

2009 Character Card

Duncan has a mind of his own. He has a great big heart, but is a little misguided. He means well, but will "Rock n Roll" whenever the mood takes him, which has gotten into trouble more than once.

Trivia

  • Duncan never had an old shaped plastic funnel, despite being introduced in 1998, when all other engines still had one.
  • The prototype 1998 Duncan features a slightly different face and a thinner funnel.
  • The 2009 Duncan erroneously has a lamp in front of his cab.
