Trivia
- A prototype concept for George was created by Roy Wilson in May of 1995, but never went into production.
- The prototype George features no nail in the cab roof or flywheel, no visible pin cover in the front roller, a slightly different orientation of the rear wheels and flywheel, and incomplete bands around the body.
- George's boiler is rather elongated with his face forward of his roller wheel instead of resting just above his red roller axle bar.
- George is one of the few characters to be in more than one Vehicle Assortment pack.
