Fergus is a Traction Engine who shunts trucks at the Cement Works. He is a reliable down-to-earth engine, who believes in playing by the rules. Unsurprisingly, he's resilient to change and can get irritated when other engines muck about.

- 2013 (curved edges and longer magnet guards, fully painted teeth, boiler and chassis constructed from separate pieces of wood)

- Fergus was one of the first vehicles to have two-tone wheels.
- Fergus was the third item to not have a black chassis with the first two being Terence and the Sodor Railway Repair, the fourth being Rocky, the fifth being Byron, the sixth being Peter Sam's Dynamite Delivery, and the seventh being Stephen's Castle Coaches.
- Fergus is not featured in the 2009 yearbooks.
