The Movie Car (also known as the Gold Dust Car and Limited Collector's Edition) is a promotional vehicle released in Canada and Australia for the theatrical release of Thomas and the Magic Railroad. It comes with special "gold" cargo. It is packaged in a sealed plastic bag.

- The car uses the same basis as the Coal Car and all of its variants.
- The gold piece included in this is slightly smaller than other cargo pieces with the same shape.
