Marion is a bubbly, funny, self-propelled railway steam shovel who works at the Sodor China Clay Pits.
Trivia
- Marion's first two prototypes feature her with a funnel. Interestingly, she actually has a funnel in the television series.
- Marion is the sixth rail vehicle to not have a front magnet with the first five being the Sodor Railway Repair, Winter Wonderland Thomas, Hank, Snow Covered Percy, and Winston and the seventh being Dustin. Despite that, her concept artwork does feature her with a front magnet and she also features a front coupling in the television series.
