Streamlined and fast, Connor is energetic and loves to race other engines. He is more patient than Caitlin but can sometimes be perceived as smug.

Connor loves to move quickly, and he gets excited to race his friends. While he can be smug and impatient sometimes, his energy often inspires those around him.

- The first prototype 2013 Connor is a repainted 2004 Spencer with his tender backwards.
- The second prototype 2013 Connor features more painted details than the produced version, most notably on his front around his magnet.
- 2013 Connor features a front magnet encased in blue plastic and a front bogey unable to move laterally, much like Murdoch, Arthur, Caitlin, Streamlined Emily, Frieda and Racing Vinnie.
- Many later versions of 2013 Connor have the decals on the tender upside down.
- The 2018 Connor uses the same base as Caitlin.
- The cancelled 2018 Connor features his details printed onto exposed wood.
