Rumble and Race Mountain Set (also known as Avalanche Playtable Set) is a set loosely based on the episode Snow Tracks. The mountain has three different activation points which activate sounds, rumbling rocks and snowballs falling with lights and sounds. The main feature is the snowballs chasing engines down the mountain.

Trivia
- The prototype features more track running under the snowy mountain, no icicle tunnel, and no engines.
- Two versions of the icicle tunnel exist: one has a special curved track piece with the tunnel attached to it and the other has the icicle tunnel as a separate piece and two regular pieces of 3 1/2" Curved Track.
- The Snow Covered Percy is the fourth rail vehicle to not have a front magnet with the first three being the Sodor Railway Repair, Winter Wonderland Thomas, and Hank, the fifth being Winston, the sixth being Marion, and the seventh being Dustin.
