The Sodor Airfield is a destination. Winding up the arm and pressing the button on the side sets the arm spinning and carrying Tiger Moth in flight. Pushing the button on the top of the tower changes the altitude of the arm.

- The prototype Sodor Airfield features Tiger Moth with a silver propeller, similar to that of the 2003 version. The building also has red "Sodor Airfieled" lettering on the side and also appears to have no button.
