Trivia
- The picture used in the yearbooks is of the special edition that was used in retail store displays. In addition, Henry's tender is backwards, Annie and Clarabel are facing the wrong ways, and Thumper has no treads.
- This is the only set to include a roadway version of the Knapford Covered Bridge. Despite this, it includes Ascending Track Risers instead of its usual angled ones.
- The retail display version of the set is wired directly to the board of the playtable, with a building labeled Sodor Signal Station #9 holding the batteries for all lights and sounds destinations.
- This set was featured in a Wooden Railway advertisement. However, the roadway Knapford Covered Bridge was replaced by a 6" Straight Road piece and the Knapford Covered Bridge's angled ascending track risers.
