Whiff is the second engine to have glasses. The first being the Sodor Railway Repair and the third being Helpful Steamie.
Whiff's Take Along prototype is shown in the 2008 UK yearbook instead of the Wooden Railway one.
The Prototype 2014 Whiff features a pink face and fully painted silver boiler bands.
