Fisher-Price is a toy company owned by Mattel that produces toys for children and infants. The company is known for producing toys such as the Little People range and Geotrax, along with licensed products which include Disney and many more. Since late 2009, Fisher-Price has owned the rights for the Thomas and Friends license, and has produced the Thomas Take-n-Play and TrackMaster product ranges. In 2011, the company purchased the Thomas Wooden Railway from TOMY (formerly Learning Curve) and produced the range from 2013 until 2017, when the line was discontinued and replaced with a similar line known as Wood. This means that Mattel's Fisher-Price has the rights to produce all three major Thomas toy ranges;  two of which--the Wood (formerly Wooden Railway) and Adventures (formerly Take-Along) ranges--were originally sold under Learning Curve.
