The Grain Loader is a destination. Turning the knob on the side of the loader makes "grain" fall through the hopper. When the included Sodor Grain Mill Car goes through it, a magnet in the wall of the building flips the top of the car over, revealing a full load of grain. It also includes a male Track Adapter.

Trivia

  • The prototype Grain Loader features a four wheeled Sodor Grain Mill Car with no illustrated details and less painted wood on the Grain Loader. The knob on the side of the Grain Loader is also lacking the arrow.
  • Despite not being released until the following year, the Grain Loader was advertised as a new product in the 1999 pamphlet and can be seen in multiple track layouts in the 1999 yearbook (albeit only in the photos and not the track plan). The version seen in the yearbook is an alternate prototype, featuring an eight-wheeled grain mill car similar to the final version but unpainted and with a longer grain load; it may also lack built-in track.
