The Double Wide Old Iron Bridge (also known as Double Wide Old Iron Bridge) was a dual-lane, bright red bridge. It came with four pieces of Ascending Track and two wooden track support blocks to have stable connections between the bridge and other track. One could remove the slabs in order to connect multiple bridges together.

Trivia

  • The Double Wide Old Iron Bridge was a recipient of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio's "Best Toy Gold Seal."
  • The Sodor Bay Bridge, introduced in 1996, was developed from this product. It shared the use of wooden support blocks and the same mold to create its plastic girders.
