- The prototype 2001 Twist and Turn Battery-Powered Set depicts James without a tender, and a layout with 62 pieces rather than 53 and almost entirely different to what was actually produced.
- It is called the Twist and Turn Action Set in both the 2001 pamphlet and yearbook.
